Our Zone has a goal to hit standards every week this transfer and it has been really awesome! Our Zone has been doing really good in working together and praying for one another in achieving standards. We needed only one new investigator to hit standards, which is 1 at church 2 on date and 2 new. And because of the Fireside, we only had about an hour to find. We visited some potentials that might have became new investigators, but no one was home! Our Former Investigator Cecilia came to church yesterday though, but she left right after sacrament meeting so we didn't get the chance to talk to her. So we decided to call her and see if she wanted to meet maybe this week. She said that she would be able to meet on Saturday and it was such a blessing!
Our investigators are doing great, for P-day today, we are hanging out with our investigator Charlotte and one of our favorite recent converts Tawny!!
We have interviews with President Wilding this week, I am hoping that I will be staying one more transfer in Bellingham! It really is the best place ever.
From our Zone conference, Elder Bednar said something that stood out to me in a video, "Missions are not a sacrifice, this is who we are (as children of God)." It really helped me to change my perspective on serving a mission, I always look at it like it is a big sacrifice to make when I could be furthering myself in school and only focusing on myself, but I have realized that this is who we are, and how can this be a sacrifice when it is benefiting me tremendously? It's not easy, i'll admit it, but it has brought me a new knowledge on how I want to be and who I want to be and what is really important. I love the Gospel and what it has shaped me into, it has given me a purpose and a responsibility, that we are all children of God and need to help one another in our everyday efforts. I love you all! I hope you all have an amazing week!
