SNOWED IN! February 11, 2019

Hello everyone! We are here with another home bound pday! Apparently this is the most snow Seattle has had in years! Like 1970's or something, so all the people are raiding the stores because they think they're going to die Haha. Honestly if there was a natural disaster here, it would be a problem.
It has been very interesting this week though. I can't even count how many times I have slipped on ice and fallen flat on my back😂 I think its every time I go out in the snow something happens Haha.
The Lord provided a tender mercy the other day while we were out knocking doors since we couldn't drive anywhere. We knocked on a Less Active members door and had no idea and she let us in! She was so sweet and we're pretty sure they are a PMF as well! But after we were about to leave, she told us they made snow ice cream and we had. O idea what that was? And all it is is snow, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla! Umyou just have to make sure its clean snow Haha. It tastes just like vanilla ice cream, she gave us a can of sweetened condensed milk and it was worth treking home with it.
We had MLC (missionary leadership council) on Thursday and it was really good. The spirit is always strong at those meetings. Sister Price and I went together while our companions were together working in their area.
New Missionary training was canceled on Friday due the snow, so not sure when we are going to do that, and zone confrence this week is canceled as well!
Also, I forgot to mention, the new Mission President and wife for our mission in July are President and Sister Auna! They are from Hawaii and he was a judge and also an Area Seventy! We got news he is going to come to our zone confrences to meet us all! President and Sister Wilding said they are the sweetest and most genuine people.
Both our ward meetings on Sunday were canceled which was crazy, it has just been a weird week! But I'm grateful to be here and all the things I'm able to learn. Hope you all have a great week!
Love,
Sister Stokes
